I recently stayed at Posada Mariposa Boutique Hotel and found the location to be a major plus, right on 5th Avenue and close to everything. However, the bed was super firm, almost too much for my back, and the noise from live bands nearby made it tough for me to sleep. The room was decent but definitely showing some wear and the amenities felt quite basic.
